A big, dark, brooding wine with lots of flavour and excellent cellaring potential. It is ideally suited to flavoursome red meat, such as kangaroo.
*Colour: Dense purple with vibrant crimson hues.
*Taste: Rich, fresh flavour expresses the intensity of the 2013 vintage in the Barossa. Elegant fine tannins are felt across the palate and the subtle oak influence yields cedar and soft charry notes on the finish. This wine is beautifully balanced, with excellent structure and length typifying the St Hugo Heritage of power and elegance.
*Aroma: The nose promises classic Barossa Shiraz, with a heady and a complex mix of dark fruits and spice mingling with toasted cedar aromas which unfold over time in the glass.
